Elizabeth “Betty” Pimental Bracken was met with open arms at the gates of Heaven by the love of her life, John “Jack” Bracken on January 10, 2020. She passed away peacefully at her home in St. Cloud, Florida with loved ones by her side. Betty was an avid world traveler, knitter, and crossword puzzle master. She dedicated herself to the care of oncology patients at Rhode Island Hospital for sixteen years. Betty was the former wife of the late Arthur Pimental. Both are survived by their five children; Shirley (Robert) Garvin, Arthur (Dorothy) Pimental, Debra (Anthony) Pimental, Steven Pimental, and Lisa (Anthony) St. Angelo. She was a beloved Grandmother to 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Although she is greatly missed, her memory lives on through the beautiful memories she created with her family.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday January 15th beginning at 8:30am in The Butterfield Chapel 500 Pontiac Avenue Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Paul Church Edgewood at 10:00am. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery East Providence.
