Jacqueline A. Bell
Bell, Jacqueline A. 52, of Warwick, passed away peacefully Easter Sunday morning at Riverview Nursing Home in Coventry, RI following a two-year struggle with cancer. She was the daughter of the late Ralph and Barbara (Wharmby) Bell. Jackie was the beloved sister of Dianne Smith of North Salem, NH and Christopher Bell of Northville, MI. She is also survived by nieces Robin Smith of North Salem, NH, Barbara O'Donnell of North Easton, MA, and Sonya Artman of Plymouth MI, nephews Gordon Smith, of Danville NH and Robert Bell of Northville, MI, cousins Judith Garbett of Johnston RI and Colleen Preston of Carver MA, aunt Doris Kelly of Carver MA, and close family friend Barbara Carsone of Warwick, RI. A 1977 graduate of Pilgrim High School in Warwick, Jackie was multi-talented and inventive. She was a respected local artisan for all of her life, still crafting beautiful jewelry even in her very final days. An accomplished painter, she gave lessons to budding artists and also worked as an antique dealer. She was co-owner of Timeless Interiors which was launched in 1999 and she was always in demand for her interior decorating skills and her remarkable ability to turn the ordinary into something truly beautiful. In recent years, Jackie devoted much of her time to designing and creating one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry with beads and findings she collected from sources all over the world. She was very generous with her time and her talent, most recently conducting charity jewelry sales at Miriam Hospital to benefit their cancer center. Like her jewelry, Jackie herself was one-of-a-kind, a unique and gentle spirit who was greatly loved and will be sorely missed by family and friends. A Funeral Service will be held onFriday at 10:00am in The Butterfield Chapel 500 Pontiac Avenue Cranston. Burial will follow in Pawtuxet Memorial Park Cemetery, Warwick. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5:00-8:00pm. Jackie was a member of Christ Church in East Greenwich. She and her family were deeply grateful to the congregation for the help and loving support they offered during her illness. She requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Christ Church, Needs Ministry, 1025 Main Street, East Greenwich, RI 02818.

Dear Chris -- it's been years and was looking at the paper today -- what a sad day. I remember the years with you, me, Jimmy Miller and jackie -- the kids in the neighborhood -- May your sister rest in peace -- the battle against cancer is so difficult -- she is now rewarded with God and his angels

Jackie was a long life time friend whom I met and got to know her and her family growing up in Warwick RI in Norwood. Hearing of passing at such a young age makes my heart sad. We were the best of friends and her talents and art skills always amazed me. She was so sweet and loving and I have a small painting she made for me a long time ago that still sits in my master bathroom. She will be truly missed by all her knew her and my hear aches. It is truly hard these days to find true friends like herself. I know she must be reunited in heaven now with her wonderful mother and father.

I know you are in the loving arms of Christ now, which gives me peace in your passing. You and I had so many good times going here and there together. Thank you for always thinking of me,Jackie, even when you were at your sickest you still reached out to others and gave them uplifting words of support. I miss you dearly. I so wish I could attend your service. I will be there in Spirit.

Dear Jackie. We had such fun doing craft shows, in "Antiques in the Attic" and "Timeless Interiors". I loved learning a bit about jewelry making, when you moved on to a less stressful craft, You left us too soon.Much love. We will meet again.
