Sarah R. Rogers
Rogers, Sarah R. (Morobito), 94, of Cranston, died peacefully on Tuesday September 1st at home after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Jon Rogers. She was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Paulo and Angelina (Mercurio) Morobito. She spent her early years in Pittsburgh, until she moved to Rhode Island. She lived most of her life in her home on Youlden Avenue in Cranston, but recently moved to Waterman Avenue, where she lived with her daughter, Susan. She is survived by her daughters Jean Yates, Susan Rogers, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. She also has a sister living in Florida. She was definitely the heart and soul of the family, and was always there to help anyone who needed it. She worked for many years for Klitzner Industries in Providence until her retirement. She also was a member of St. Matthews Church in Cranston. Her funeral and burial will be private.
