Robert J. Limoge
Robert J. Limoge 70, passed away on Friday September 30, 2016 at The Veterans Administration Hospital in Providence leaving his family and friends whom he cherished. Bob was a proud American who clearly loved his country. He was a Marine Corp Vietnam Combat Veteran who served two tours of duty and was the recipient of two Purple Heart medals and multiple other military awards. His pride in being a U.S. Marine was evident throughout his entire adult life. We celebrate and thank him for his service to America. Bob was a loving family man. His booming voice was in contrast to his humble, kind, generous and caring ways. He made certain that everyone had what they needed and wanted. Sadly, Bob was predeceased by his cherished wife, Janet (Bogue) Limoge just seven months earlier. He was the son of the late Emile and Irene Limoge. He leaves his children, Robert J. Limoge Jr, William Graham (Leslie), Debra Carroll (Dennis), Patricia Magno, Linda LaPointe (George Beaulieu), Robert Graham and Michael Graham, brothers Raymond and Richard,”Sonny” and a sister, Sharlene. He also leaves many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and dear canine best friends, Ginger, Pepper and Chloe. He was the brother-in-law of Virginia and Joseph Schuttert. Bob will be greatly missed by all who knew the good man that he was. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00am in The Butterfield Chapel 500 Pontiac Avenue Cranston. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Highland Memorial Park Johnston. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4:00-7:00pm. Should a contribution in his memory wish to be made, a remembrance in the form of a donation to the RISPCA, or an act of kindness toward someone else, or even a gift to an organization that focuses on helping others would be greatly appreciated.
