Lois E. McInerney
McInerney Lois E. 68, passed into eternity on Thursday August 2nd. She was the elder daughter of Joseph and Inez McInerney. Lois was born in Salem, Ohio and moved to Rhode Island in 1959. She attended Our Lady of Mercy School, Warwick Veterans High School and the University of Rhode Island graduating in 1970. Lois utilized her Business Administration degree in a variety of roles at Jordan Marsh, White Fuel Company, Super Service Oil Company and finally as Comptroller of F.H. French Company in Lincoln. She loved cooking, art and design. Lois was a voracious reader and world traveler. She leaves behind her mother and sibling Joanne, the Principal Emeritus of Winman JHS, eight first cousins and her aunts Betty of Sun City, Arizona and Betty-Anne of Novi, Michigan. In addition, she is grieved by her step- brother Edward Dowling of Plymouth, Massachusetts and longtime friends Barbara and Janet Feyler, Jen Cookke, and Doris Boucher. Her funeral will be private, but friends are invited to make charitable donations in her memory to the American Cancer Society or Hope Hospice and Palliative Care of Rhode Island.
