Adrienne A. Kane Obituary

Adrienne A. Kane 55, of Warwick, died peacefully at home on January 26, 2024. Adrienne dedicated over 25 years of her working career to the Compliance Field at United Healthcare. Born in Providence on April 3, 1968, she was the beloved daughter of Terrence J. Kane and the late Joan (Conley) Kane-Hersey. Adrienne was a long-time resident of Warwick.

Besides her father, Adrienne is survived by her stepmother Linda Kane, stepfather Donald Hersey, brother Terrence J. Kane Jr. and wife Anne Marie Kane, sister Shannon Kane Sorrell and husband Theodore Sorrell, nieces Sarah, Maura, Eva, nephew Theodore and her dear friend, Mary Martel. She also leaves several aunts, uncles and cousins as well as many friends and coworkers. 

Adrienne was a passionate lover of photography and the tranquility of the beach. Her warm heart and enduring spirit touched the lives of those around her leaving a legacy of love, commitment and the beautiful memories she captured through her lens. In addition to her many talents, Adrienne was a passionate writer, gifted with exquisite handwriting that added a personal touch to her thoughtful and beautiful words, Adrienne‘s writing reflected the beauty and depth of her soul.  

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday at 6:30pm in The Butterfield Chapel 500 Pontiac Avenue Cranston.  In addition, visitation will be held on Friday afternoon prior to the service beginning at 4:00pm.  In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the East Greenwich Animal Protection League (EGAPL Heart of RI Animal Rescue League) at Donation Form – EGAPL Heart of RI
