Arthur Licciardi Obituary

Arthur Licciardi Jr., 79, of Rumford died peacefully at home on March 31, 2023, surrounded by his family.  For 28 years he was the husband of recently deceased Constance (Elderkin) Licciardi.  Born in Providence on July 5, 1943, he was the son of the late Arthur and Mary (Tomasso) Licciardi.  

After graduation from Mt. Pleasant High School in January of 1961, he served in the US Army Reserves stationed at Ft. Dix, New Jersey.  He was a chain mechanic foreman for many years at a chain and jewelry manufacturing company. 

He is survived by his loving son, David Licciardi, stepdaughters Lori Santiago (Thomas Noyes) and Lisa Plamondon (Burton), sisters Phyllis Cardullo (Robert) and Sue Parmentier.  He was the proud grandfather of Samantha, Andrew, Kevin, and Matthew Licciardi and Jacob Plamondon and the stepfather of the late Steven Elderkin.

 Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 4, 2023 from 4:00-7:00pm in The Butterfield Chapel 500 Pontiac Avenue Cranston.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday April 5, 2023 at 10:00am in St. Thomas Church 65 Fruit Hill Avenue Providence.

Burial will be in Seekonk Cemetery Newman Avenue Seekonk. 

In lieu of flowers, Donations to the St. Thomas Food Pantry 65 Fruit Hill Avenue Providence, RI 02909 or to Beacon Hospice 1 Catamore Blvd East Providence, RI 02914 would be appreciated.
