Obituary

Barbara Stewart 83, passed away on Sunday December 18, 2022. Married for 63 years, she was the beloved wife of Lewis Nelson Stewart Jr. and daughter of the late Aroldo and Margherita (Longiaru) Magnani

In addition to her husband, Barbara is survived by her children: Thomas (Lori), Karen (Chris), and Michael (Jill). She was predeceased by her daughter, Julie Gold. She leaves eight adored grandchildren and four cherished great granddaughters; and was the dear sister of the late Aroldo Magnani Jr., Adele Montefusco and Paula Sullivan, and was the sister-in-law to Jean McCrea and Carolyn Mathison.  She also leaves many beloved nephews, nieces and cousins.

All relatives and friends are invited to Barbara's visitation which will be held on Thursday January 5, 2023 from 4:00-6:00pm in The Butterfield Chapel 500 Pontiac Avenue Cranston.  A Memorial Service will immediately follow the visitation at 6:00pm. Burial will be held on Friday in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.

In lieu of flowers, please perform acts of kindness in Barbara's memory.
