Beth Ellen Hammond Obituary

Beth Ellen (Magliocco) Hammond 64, passed away on August 9, 2024 in Providence. Born on June 3, 1960 in Warwick, she was a cherished member of the community and a graduate of the University of New Hampshire. Beth is survived by her loving husband Robert Hammond, daughter Jennifer Arnold, son-in-law David Arnold, and granddaughter Monica Arnold. Beth is also survived by her brother Paul Magliocco and his wife Jeannine, sister Jane Magliocco and her husband Wayne Shirk, sister Paula Margolis and her husband Shawn as well as several nieces and nephews including Ross, Ainsley, Lydia, and Marcus Magliocco. Beth was preceded in death by parents Monica and Joseph Magliocco, sister Joy Magliocco all formerly of Portsmouth, and grandparents Chester D. and Rose Knight formerly of Cranston. 

She was a devoted parishioner at Saint David's on the Hill Episcopal Church in Cranston where she participated actively in community and spiritual activities. Her family expresses immense gratitude for the support during this time and invites those who knew Beth to remember her fondly in their thoughts. Beth's life will be honored in a ceremony that reflects her enduring spirit and the profound impact she had on those around her.

Visitation will be held on Friday August 16, 2024 from 4:00-7:00pm in The Butterfield Chapel 500 Pontiac Avenue Cranston.  A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday August 17, 2024 at 10:00am in St. David's on the Hill Episcopal Church 200 Meshanticut Valley Parkway Cranston.
