Carl A. Malmborg

Carl "Avery" Malmborg 90, a lifelong resident of Cranston,  passed away peacefully at home on Friday March 18, 2022 surrounded by his family.  He was the husband of the late Ann (Cummings) Malmborg.  Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Carl "Cully" and Lillian (Smith) Malmborg and brother of the late Susan Crispin.  He leaves behind his daughter Carlene Plaziak and her husband Edward as well as grandchildren Jill and Daniel Plaziak.  He was the father of the late Eric Malmborg.  

Carl had a love for animals of every kind and volunteered with his wife at the Best Friends Society in Utah.  He enjoyed traveling, tennis, skiing and playing Hi-Lo Jack with his friends and family.  

Father David Ricard will officiate a private service in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery.  Donations in Carl's memory may be made to VNA of Care New England Hospice 51 Health Lane Warwick, RI 02886
