Carol Bergevine Obituary

Carol M. Bergevine 71, of Woonsocket  passed away on Wednesday December 23, 2020 at Landmark Hospital in Woonsocket from complications of Covid-19. She was raised in Hartford, Connecticut before moving to Cranston, Rhode Island. She was the daughter of the late Elise Silva and sister of the late Delores Dixon and the late Helen Silva. She was a long distance AT&T operator for over 25 years in Connecticut and Providence.   She changed career and became a CNA working in nursing homes. Carol is survived by her four children, the oldest Michael Bergevine of Cranston, Anthony Bergevine of West Warwick, Joseph Bergevine and his wife Corinne of Cranston, and her youngest daughter Nicole Bergevine of Johnston.  She was the grandmother to Anthony Bergevine Jr, Iceiss and Isaac Bergevine, Brianna Rowan and Hayden Voyer. Carol loved spending time with her children and grandchildren as much as she could. She was a devoted fan of the Boston Red Sox. She loved reading true crime novels while drinking a hot cup of coffee or tea. She enjoyed watching tv shows/movies based on true life crime. She was an avid fan of the Beatles and saw them in concert numerous times when she was younger. She had a huge celebrity crush on Johnny Depp. She enjoyed eating seafood, Chinese and Italian cuisine.  

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday December 28, 2020 at10:00am in St. Ann Cemetery Cranston. There will be limited space for folks to pay their respects. If you plan on attending please follow social distancing guidelines and protocols.
