Carol Caldarone 72, of Cranston, died peacefully at home on Friday August 28, 2020. She was a hairstylist for 53 years on Rolfe Street in Cranston. Born in Providence, she was daughter of the late George and Elizabeth (Mitchell) Paulhus. Carol was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend to many. She enjoyed socializing with her friends at the salon, on bus trips to casinos, Ogunquit, and nights out at Brewed Awakenings. Being a hairstylist she had a lot of stories to tell but she had a great ability to just listen to the ones close to her. Carol is survived by her son Frank Caldarone; her daughter Dina Vendituoli and husband Michael; sister Donna Cardillo and her companion Harold Brown. She was the loving grandmother to Alyssa Caldarone and aunt of Lori Cardillo. She will also be missed by all her beloved granddogs. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday September 1, 2020 at 11:00am in St. Matthew Church Cranston (corner of Park and Elmwood Avenue). Burial will be private. Visitation will be held on Tuesday morning prior to the Funeral Mass beginning at 8:30am in The Butterfield Chapel 500 Pontiac Avenue Cranston.
