Cheryl Russell Obituary

Cheryl Russell 62, of Foster died in her home peacefully on February 15, 2025 after a long battle with cancer.  She is survived by her children Sean A., Erin C. Smith, Jordan T. Grande, Kurt T. Russell and her grandchild Theo A. Kudyba. She is also survived by her partner of 11 years Carlos Campos and is leaving behind her mother Barbara Tabak and siblings Norman, David, Stephen Clark, Lori Petrosinelli and Jessica Tabak.

Cheryl was an avid reader, music lover, dancer and photographer. She had a passion for traveling and served in the US Air Force. Cheryl loved her cat Kitten and her three dogs Isaac, Gus, and Callie dearly. She loved to watch the birds and specifically loved hummingbirds. She enjoyed all the seasons but loved to watch the snow out her bay window. She loved the holidays, because it came with her favorite thing, family. She was an amazing mother and grandmother who was always there when you needed her. She was a “Mom” to many, not just her children. She loved to give back to her community.  Particularly in her 50’s she found a love for Muay Thai. This was one of her favorite communities to be a part of. Whenever someone needed a hand, Cheryl was there to lend hers. Cheryl is and will be deeply missed by so many.
