Crisalda Genao gained her angel wings on Monday January 24th, 2022. Born in the Dominican Republic in 1949, she moved to Providence, Rhode Island in 1982 where she lived until 2018 at which time she went on to live alongside her daughter and grandsons in Warwick. After proudly working as a factory laborer for many years, even as she faced many challenges due to being mute and deaf, she went on to bring her two daughters to live here with her in the United States. She went on to raise her two daughters, who became productive and hard working adults with children on their own. Crisalda was known for her unconditional and unselfish love for life, despite her physical disability, she demonstrated unmeasurable resilience and kindness… she’s been described as an angel on earth. Crisalda’s life could be described by those who knew her as one of those rare miracles that almost impossible to articulate. She loved everyone and had the most joyful attitude towards life, because of these pure and kind qualities, she always made a impression on everyone she encountered.
To say her family and friends will miss her immensely, is an understatement.
She is survived by her two daughters Bolivia and Carolina, her precious grandchildren Robert, Damian, and Christopher, her furry loving companions Lulu and Wilson, as well as her loving extensively large family and friends.
Her daughters and family invite you to a brief Memorial Service in The Butterfield Chapel located at 500 Pontiac Avenue in Cranston on Saturday February 5th, 2022.
