Dorothy Forand

Dorothy (Moran) Forand  91, a former resident of Cranston passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Cherry Hill Manor. Born in Providence, Dorothy was the beloved daughter of the late Mary (Medeiros) and William Moran. Sister of Bernie Khouri and her husband Riad. Sister of the late Delores Baldino, Eileen Matarese, Oney and William Moran. Mother of Patrick Hayes and the late Mary E. and William C. Hayes Jr. Grandmother of Kevin, Sean, Ryan, Neil Hayes, and Robert Bestwick. Dorothy was employed at Rhode Island Hospital accounting department for sixteen years. After retiring she worked part time at Opportunities Unlimited as a staff care giver.  In her later years she lovingly devoted time to cook for her lovely grandsons. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, her niece Karen Paolucci and her sister Bernie Khouri. Her grandsons and great grandson Liam Hayes were the joy of her life. Dorothy enjoyed watching the Celtics and the Patriots. She was quick to laugh and had a wonderful sense of humor. She will be sincerely missed by all of those who met her and loved her.

Relative and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Robert Bellarmine 1804 Atwood Avenue Johnston on Friday, June 4th @ 10:00 a.m.
