Edwin Alejo Obituary

Edwin Alejo 51 years young passed away unexpectedly on March 24, 2023. He was a groundsman at Broadband Access Services. He also worked at Foxwoods for many years as a Black Jack dealer. He was born in Manhattan, New York and relocated to Rhode Island. He has left behind his loving significant spouse Ana Paula Filuminia (Santos). He has also left behind his beloved sons, Jamal Alejo, Jorge Sarit, and Angel Depina, sisters Mayra Alejo, Falconeris Taveras, Lissette Alejo, Barbara Alejo, brother Victor Alejo, his beautiful grandchildren Avery and Allanah and many more nieces, nephews and cousins who will miss him dearly. He was predeceased by his parents Jose and Iris Cabrera Alejo, brothers Juan “Johnny” and Carlos Alejo, son Alonzo Depina and niece Yasmin Taveras. Edwin was loyal, compassionate and loved by all. He loved rapping, dancing, cooking, camping and horseshoes. He loved being with his family and friends. His smile would light up a room. He will be sadly missed and hold a very special place in our hearts forever and always. We would love for you to come and honor his life at the visitation to be held on Saturday April 1st from 9:00am- 12:00pm in The Butterfield Funeral Home.
