Frances Haelsen Obituary

Frances Helen (Duval) Haelsen 81 of Cranston, passed away peacefully on July 6th surrounded by her loving family following a brief illness.  She was the beloved wife of Bruce Haelsen.  Born in Providence, on July 12, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Gerard & Helen (Spaulding) Duval.  Besides her husband, Frances leaves behind her devoted children Paul Jordan, Carolyn Mancone, Craig Haelsen (Mary), Linda Haelsen (Tom), Kathleen Soares (Jim), Ann Haelsen, John Haelsen, Kim Haelsen, and her siblings John G. Duval (Trudy) and Diane Duval, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Mark Jordan. Frances was a longtime employee of Rhode Island Hospital.  Her joys in life included spending time with family & friends, travel, and sailing the New England coast with her husband, family and her beloved little dog Coco.

 

Relatives and friends are kindly invited  invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday July 12th at 10:00am in the Immaculate Conception Church  237 Garden Hills Drive Cranston. Burial will follow in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown.

Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4:00-7:00pm.
