Gertrude L. Bowen 92, of West Warwick passed away November 5, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late Aram H. Bowen. Born in Providence, she was the loving daughter of the late Harry A. and Fannie (Andelman) Bloomberg. Gertrude retired from the former Fleet Bank after 38 years of service.

She is survived by her loving stepson, Robert P. Bowen and wife Carol of Lake Havasu City, Arizona. The greatest joy of her life were her two granddaughters, Kathi-Jane Bowen and husband Stefan Pildes of New Jersey, and Kelli Bowen and her partner Henk Loorbach of Amsterdam. She also leaves her dear extended family and was the beloved aunt of Anne Bloomberg Young of Story, Wyoming. She was the sister of the late Sheldon O. and Rodney Bloomberg and stepmother of the late Paul H. Bowen.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service to be held in the Historic Chapel in Swan Point Cemetery 585 Blackstone Boulevard Providence on Friday November 8, 2024 at 11:00am. Burial will follow at the conclusion of the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to VNA of Care New England 51 Health Lane, Warwick, RI 02886.
