Glenn Herbert Nicoll Jr. 82, passed away on March 25, 2026 at Hope Health Hospice in Providence.
Born on August 12, 1943 he was the son of the late Glenn Herbert Nicoll and Virginia B. Miller. He was raised in Warwick by Glenn and his stepmother Virginia T Nicoll and graduated from Warwick Veterans Memorial High School. His first job was in the Art Department at the Outlet Company. Glenn became a commercial artist with Albertson Studio and had an impressive portfolio. While living on Benefit Street, he knew the art community in Providence very well. He enjoyed traveling and touring Europe and his summers at Roy Carpenters Beach in Matunuck. He made frequent trips to the Brimfield, CT antique shows collecting vintage metal dog doorstops and the work of local artists. Glenn enjoyed gourmet cooking at home and always brought special dishes for guests to appreciate. He loved his dogs, all large, and walking the East Side and in Swan Point Cemetery.
He is survived by his stepbrothers Edward J. Dinucci (Lynn) and Donald J. Dinucci (Susan).
His stories and knowledge will be missed.
