Irene “Claire” (Desjarlais) Hynes, 81, passed away peacefully June 11th at Hebert Nursing Home , previously having resided in Johnston. She was the wife of the late Robert P. Hynes. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Marie (Petit) Desjarlais. She is survived by her children Dennis Hynes and his wife Joyce, and daughter Debra Parrillo., grandchildren Vincent, Nicholas, and Jon Michael, and one great-grandchild. She also leaves behind her brother Richard Desjarlais and sister Donna Desjarlais. She was preceded in death by her siblings Theresa McCoy, Donald Desjarlais, Doris Campopiano and Joseph Desjarlais.
Claire enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was an avid fan of bingo, playing cards, computer games and of course the Dollar Store!
