Janice E. Polaski

Janice E. (MacLean) Polaski 60, of Pawtucket passed away peacefully at Rhode Island Hospital on September 15, 2023 following a brief illness.  She is survived by her beloved son, Eric and his wife Pallak, father John C. MacLean, brother Jack and sister Betsy.  She was predeceased by her mother Elizabeth S. "Betty" MacLean.  A gifted artist, Janice graduated from Cranston High School East, studied art at Rhode Island College and worked in a variety of related fields including jewelry design and creation as well as upholstery.  In her youth, she trained as a Scottish Highland dancer performing at many local events.  A Celebration of Life service was held privately.  For those wishing to pay respects, please consider a donation in Janice’s name to the NORSE Institute at www.norseinstitute.org.
