Joan E. McNair

Joan Ellen (Ross) McNair 76, passed away peacefully at home on January 7, 2019. She was the beloved wife of Robert Eli McNair for 55 years. She was a proud mother and grandmother of her two children Maribeth Ann McNair of Warwick, Robert Ross McNair of Bondville, VT. and grandson Daniel Robert Corcoran, of Columbia, SC. In addition, she is survived by her sister Carol Ann (Ross) Audette of Cranston, and brother Joseph L. Ross of Kingston, RI. Her family was most important to her. She was very thoughtful and always remembered her friend's birthdays with a special card. She was an active member of OA and inspired a lot of people. She worked at Old Stone Bank where she met her loving husband. Visitation to which all are invited to attend will be held on Thursday January 17th from 5:00-8:00pm in The Butterfield Chapel 500 Pontiac Avenue Cranston. A Mass of Christian will be celebrated on Friday January 18th at 11:00am at St. Matthew Church Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
