When he was not enriching his family’s life, Joel enjoyed enriching the community as shown by his coaching with Edgewood South Little League, Edgewood Girls Softball League, and the Edgewood Eagles Pee-Wee Football that he lead to a state championship. Joel’s community service continued as a member of the Cranston Mayor’s Traffic Safety Commission, and a member of the Cranston Schools Buildings Committee.
