John O'Connor 64, of Warwick, passed away after a short illness at Rhode Island Hospital on Saturday January 18, 2025. He was the son of late Jack and Elizabeth O'Connor.

John worked as an HVAC technician for the Providence School Department for over 30 years as a member Local 1033. He was a proud single father to his daughter Kimberly. He met the love of his life Mary in 1990 and they married in 1993. John loved the beach, watching Christmas movies, taking his daughter every summer and eventually his grandchildren to Disney (but not riding any of the rides because he was chicken), spoiling and bragging about his grandkids to anyone who would listen. He was a lifelong Patriots fan but was converted into the Bills fandom by his favorite grandson, Bryce. 

He is survived by his wife Mary, favorite daughter Kimberly Crance (Marc), beloved grandchildren Bryce, Maci and Everly Crance, brothers Michael O'Connor (Teri), Kevin and Christopher O'Connor (Michelle). He was the brother of the late Daniel and Timothy O'Connor.

Visitation will be held on Thursday January 23, 2025 from 4:00-7:00pm in The Butterfield Chapel 500 Pontiac Avenue Cranston.  A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 7:00pm.  Burial will be private.
