Obituary

Joseph Rankin, 62 of Frankfort Street Cranston died unexpectedly at Hope Health Hospice of Providence on April 14th. Joe worked his entire life in the jewelry industry as a master tool setter and a machinist. Joe was the husband of Laurie Gilo Rankin. He was born in November 1960 in Pawtucket RI. He moved to Cranston in the 1980’s. He is survived by his son Bryan his daughter Jacci and sisters Patricia and Cheryl.  Joe loved to go on nature walks, bike riding, water sports, music and exercising. He graduated from North Attleboro High school. Joe is being cremated. The family will be having a celebration of his life where they will be spreading his ashes over the waters at Rocky Point sometime this summer. Date to be announced.
