Julie Gold

Julie Anne (Stewart) Gold "Jules" entered into eternal peace on Sunday March 1, 2020 at home in Cranston. Julie was born September 12, 1963 and was a daughter of Lewis and Barbara (Magnani) Stewart of Cranston.  She was a graduate of Bishop Keough High School 1981 and worked as a secretary in the automotive industry for most of her life. Julie was a constant fixture in the Scituate Vista Community acting as a caregiver and liaison for several members inside the Scituate Vista Community. Julie was a very kind and gentle soul, she had a loving and caring heart, and was always giving onto others.

Besides her caring parents, she leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her children Timothy O’Connell Jr and his fiancée Alexis Ricci of Wilsonville, Oregon, daughter Christina Gold and boyfriend Richard Houlihan of Cranston, granddaughter Jaszlyn Gold of Cranston, siblings Thomas Stewart and wife Lori Stewart of Hertford, North Carolina, Karen Stewart and boyfriend Chris Hupf of Warwick, Michael Stewart and his wife Jill Stewart of Warwick, as well as several aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Julie was an active member in her community, who enjoyed the Rhode Island beaches, along with cooking, and caring for several guests where she lived. Julie also enjoyed spending time with her family; especially enjoying her time with her granddaughter Jaszlyn Gold with whom she was inseparable. Julie was a loving grandmother who could never get enough time with Jaszlyn.  Julie and her sister Karen were best of friends and spent most of their time together, whether it be shopping or just enjoying the simple things in life.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday March 7th at 12:00 noon in The Butterfield Chapel 500 Pontiac Avenue Cranston.  Visitiation will be held for two hours prior to the Service beginning at 10:00am.  In lieu of flowers donations to the Jaszlyn Gold Scholarship Fund PO Box 8603 Warwick, RI 02888 would be appreciated.
