Karen Keith Obituary

Karen F. Keith (Ricci) 77, of Cranston, peacefully passed away with family by her side on Wednesday March 13, 2019. She was born in Westbrook, Maine on March 21, 1941 to the late William and Helen (Murphy) Keith. Growing up with five sisters (Roberta, Nancy, Jeannine, Audrey, Vicky) and brother William, our mom enjoyed playing kick the can and baseball. She was married to our late father Edwin J. Ricci. Sr living in Maine before settling in Rhode Island in the late 60's. She was a stay at home mother, who did her best with 6 "well behaved" children. Actually, don't know how she did it as we weren't the easiest bunch. She completed her GED when we were older and attended college which helped as she joined the work force. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by daughters; Catherine Campanile, Audrey Amadio and son in-law William Amadio, Rebecca Mendonca, sons; David Ricci and daughter in-law Mary, Michael Ricci all from Cranston, along with son Edwin Ricci from Londonderry, New Hampshire; sisters Roberta Morse of Scarborough Maine, Nancy Merry of Gorham, Maine and sister in law Beverly Keith of Gorham, Maine. She also leaves behind 12 grandchildren who she referred to as her pumpkin heads; Anthony Campanile, Alyssa Holland (Campanile), Joseph Campanile, William Amadio, Adriana Amadio, Sean Butler, Sean Mendonca, Maya Mendonca, David Ricci Jr, Jennifer Ricci, Tonya Ricci and Gianna Ricci and 7 great grandchildren; David J. Ricci, Tyler Butler, Cayden Ricci, Robert Reynolds, Amara Reynolds, Oliver Phillips, and Aria Campanile. We will miss her laughter and jokes, but we all have fond memories that will last a life time. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday March 20th at 11:00am in The Butterfield Chapel 500 Pontiac Avenue Cranston. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the Service beginning at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care Rhode Island at www.hopehospiceri.org.
