Kenneth Charles Champlin II 80, passed away on Saturday February 5, 2022 at the Rhode Island Veterans Home In Bristol, Rhode Island. He was the husband of the late Deborah Champlin and Linda Moska.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Ruth (Brannen) Champlin. He lived in Cranston and Warwick all of his life before moving to the Veterans Home seven years ago. He was a truck driver for North American Van Lines and worked at Custom Designs. Ken proudly served in the US Air Force in Vietnam. He shared many memories about his time in the Air Force with anyone who would listen and was honored to have served his country. He also made lots of friends at the Veterans Home that were like family to him.
Ken leaves behind his five children; sons Kenneth Champlin and fiance Maureen of Narragansett, Russell Champlin of Boston and Thomas and his girlfriend Audra of Coventry, two daughters Millie and her husband Cory Smith of Griswold Connecticut, and Keri and Husband Ed Amaral of West Warwick. He also leaves behind fourteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Peggy Krieg, William, Richard and Robert Champlin.
A Funeral Service with Military Honors will be held on Friday February 11, 2022 at 11:30am at The Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery Exeter.
