Laura L. Belliveau

Laura L. Belliveau 77, passed away and joined her husband Roger J. Belliveau in their eternal rest with our Lord on November 2, 2023.  She had faced a long battle with cancer but remained strong and independent until a swift bout of exhaustion turned into her final moments with loved ones.  She remained in her home on Welfare Avenue in Warwick until her last couple days when she was transported to Hope Health Hospice care in Providence.  Hope Health Hospice took wonderful care of her while her children and loved ones said their goodbyes. 

Born in Worcester, Massachusetts on June 17, 1946, Laura Graduated from Wachusett High School in Holden in 1964.  She attended Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester and graduated with her associate degree in nursing in 1989.  She became a Registered Nurse on October 1, 1989.  In her later years Laura was an active member of the Hope in Christ Church formerly known as Against all Hope Ministries.  Laura found much peace in her faith and made many friendships as a member of the church.  Laura valued the opportunities to provide guidance and wisdom to those seeking it and enjoyed helping young Christians.  She also enjoyed arts and crafts and spent much time coloring. 

Laura leaves behind a large family and many loved ones including daughters Tracy Dion of Worcester, Sheri Julian of Southbridge, Cindy Lamica of Dudley, Tami Hale of Worcester, Corrie Nieuwenhoff of Spencer, sons Drew Nieuwenhoff of Southbridge, and Matthew Nieuwenhoff of Warwick, fifteen grandchildren, multiple great grandchildren as well as sisters Betty Fogg, Nancy Crockett and brother Steven Fogg.  All of which she loved very much. In her last moments she left us with some final words “From my lips to your ears I love all of you”. 

Remembrances and a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday December 2, 2023 in the Grace Bible Church 116 Rolfe Square Cranston from 1:00-4:00pm  Food and refreshments will be provided. In lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to Hope in Christ Church c/o G.B.C 116 Rolfe Square Cranston, RI 02910 or Hope Health Hospice & Palliative Care 1085 North Main Street Providence, RI 02904.
