Laura Rita (Martin) Santos 86, of Cranston died unexpectedly on Tuesday April 29, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was the beloved daughter of the late Manuel and Mary Martin and sister of the late Jennie Andrade. Laura leaves behind two daughters Donna Santos and Linda Lamond both of Cranston, granddaughters Jillian and Jacqueline Smith, as well as four grand dogs Max, Bentley, Harlem, and Benny. She was the godmother of Mary Andrade and aunt of Anne Andrade.
As a lifelong parishioner of St. Matthews Church, Laura loved dancing, a good cup of Dunkin Donuts coffee and her recliner. She was known for her sense of humor and was always willing to help a friend in need. She will be missed.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday May 2, 2025 at 11:00am in St. Matthews Church Cranston. Visitation will be held on Friday morning prior to the Mass in the Butterfield Chapel 500 Pontiac Avenue Cranston from 8:00-10:15am. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery Cranston.
