Lauretta F. Barszcz 90, a resident of Royal Westerly Nursing Home in Westerly, Rhode Island died peacefully after a long illness on January 22nd. 

She was formerly employed as a Home Health Aide. She was a long time resident of Cranston, Rhode Island until 2010. 

She is survived by her daughter Pauline Dunkel of North Kingstown, Rhode Island, and two sons, James Barszcz of Providence, Rhode Island, and Richard C. Barszcz of Mansfield, Massachusetts, 9 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Barszcz was an avid reader, enjoyed Bingo, along with her love of music.  Time spent with family was her greatest pleasure.

Her Funeral Service will  be held on Saturday February 1, 2020 at 9:30am in The Butterfield Chapel 500 Pontiac Ave. Cranston.  Burial in The Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery  Exeter,  Rhode Island will immediately follow.
