Lawrence D'Amico Obituary

Lawrence W. "Larry" D'Amico 75 of Cranston passed away on Thursday December 21, 2023.  He was the husband of 51 years of Elaine A. (Cardarelli) D'Amico.  Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Vincent and Claire (Leone) D'Amico.  Larry had worked over 50 years as a Meatcutter for Stop and Shop Supermarkets and most recently had worked part time in the same capacity at the Market Basket Supermarket in Warwick.  Larry had also served 40 years in the 143rd RI Air National Guard.  Besides his wife, he is survived by his son Lt. Brian J. D'Amico CPD, brother Paul D'Amico, sisters Terry Cardin, Connie D'Amico, Donna D'Amico, Claire Taraborelli, and Luann D'Amico as well as three nieces and five nephews.  He was the brother of the late James, Donald, and Gerald D'Amico.

"Larry, the dogs are waiting to see you, Terry, Princess, Brownie and Muffin.  Master Fresh Toby and I love you and will miss you today, tomorrow, and always until our lives are over."  Love Elaine.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday December 27, 2023, at 11:00am in The Butterfield Chapel 500 Pontiac Avenue Cranston.  Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery Cranston. In lieu of flowers donations to the Rhode Island Blood Center 405 Promenade Street Providence, RI 02908 would be appreciated.  http://ribc.org
