Linda Diana Wilson (nee Austin) 75, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2025. Born on September 21, 1949, in Providence, Rhode Island, she was the daughter of the late Grace (nee Spalding) and Ray Austin. Linda was a beloved mother and grandmother to Keith Wilson, his wife Kristin and their children Grace, Colin, and Dylan. She is also survived by her sister Joyce Austin, wife of Doug Estrich and was the proud aunt of Ben and Hannah Estrich.

Linda held a bachelor’s degree in food & nutritional science from the University of Rhode Island and was known for her compassion, work ethic, and unwavering commitment to others. She was a lifelong employee of the State of Rhode Island and spent her career providing care at the Eleanor Slater Hospital, Department of Corrections, and to war veterans at the Rhode Island Veterans Home Community Living Center, where she worked as a dedicated registered dietician until her retirement. Linda also worked at Brentwood and Sunny View Nursing Homes, providing nutrition services to its residents.

Calling hours will be held on February 7, 2025 from 4:00- 7:00pm in The Butterfield and Chapel 500 Pontiac Avenue Cranston. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Warwick Animal Shelter in Linda's memory.
