Lucille Malo

Lucille Malo 76, of Providence passed away peacefully on Monday January 8, 2024 at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center. She was the wife of the late Leonard M. Malo Jr. Lucille was a one time resident of Warren before moving to Providence.  She had worked for the Naval War College before transferring to the VA Hospital in Providence until retirement.  She was also an active member of numerous veterans organizations.  She is survived by her children Cheryl Morency, Roger Ouellette, and Michelle White, sister Marie Floor, brother John Costa, seventeen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  She was the sister of the late Judy Fournier. 

A committal service will be held on Tuesday January 16, 2024 at 11:00am in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her late husband. 

Those attending the funeral must arrive by 10:45am to be part of the procession to the Chapel Columbarium.
