Lucille M. (Myre) Hart 85, of Chestnut Avenue died Thursday at Kent County Hospital. Lucille was the devoted wife of the late James E. Hart Jr for 56 years. Born in Central Falls and raised in Pawtucket, the daughter of Paul Myre Sr. and Irene (Moreau) Myre, she has been a resident of Cranston for 58 years. Lucille worked for the State of Rhode Island, providing lunches at several Cranston schools then later as a Ward Clerk at Eleanor Slater Hospital. Lucille, a beacon of dedication as a wife and mother, radiated positivity and brought joy to countless lives. She loved her flower gardens, fashion and sewing and remained curious throughout her entire life. She leaves two daughters; Elizabeth Hart of Belize and Susan Hart Shaw of Cranston; two sons; John J. Hart
and husband Dusty McMahan of Scottsdale, Arizona and Daniel J. Hart and wife Terri of Bellingham, Massachusetts, grandchildren Maribeth Shaw and Rebecca Brothers as well as many nieces and nephews. Lucille was the sister of the late Paul H. Myre Jr. of Florida and Robert W. Myre of North Providence.

Visitation will be held on Thursday June 6, 2024 from 9:00-11:00am in The Butterfield Chapel 500 Pontiac Avenue Cranston. A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00am in the Chapel immediately following the visitation hours. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery Cranston.
