Marie Conti

Marie (Fraraccio) Conti, 88, a long time resident of Johnston, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2020. She was the wife of the late Salvatore P. Conti Jr. to whom she was married 48 years until his passing in 2001. She was the daughter of the late Antonio Fraraccio and the late Mary (Spaziano) Fraraccio. Marie was very active all her life. She helped her husband with the family business, Conti Bros., for over 40 years. Marie was also involved in the business her daughter Catherine established in honor of her father, CJ Salvatore Excavating in 2010. She was so proud. But her greatest joy was being with her children and grandchildren who were always around her. She loved animals and was a die hard Yankee fan. She leaves her children, Cynthia Nadolny and her husband Robert J Nadolny of Cranston and Myrtle Beach, SC, Linda Nordquist and her husband Stephen of North Kingstown and Catherine Conti Cornell and her husband Robert M. Cornell, of North Scituate. She was the beloved grandmother of Mari Nadolny and her husband John Campion of Cranston, and Michael Conti DiOrio and his girlfriend Briana Roun of Coventry.   Marie was the sister of the late Etta Marchione and Frank Fraraccio. She also leaves her brother-in-law Edward Alves and sister in law Ann Fraraccio. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hope Health Hospice Center. The funeral will be private.
