Mary Jayne Windrow Obituary

Mary Jayne (Macdonald) Windrow 103, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2021.  She was the beloved wife of the late G. Edward "Ted" Windrow.  Born in St. Louis, Missouri on September 26, 1918 she was the daughter of the late Frank and Sophia (Neal) Macdonald.  Mary Jayne lived in Cranston until 2015, when she moved to The Seasons in East Greenwich.  She was a graduate of the former Cranston High School, now Cranston High School East and the former Edgewood Secretarial School as well as a former member of the Church of the Transfiguration in Edgewood.  Mary Jayne was the President and owner of Services Rendered Inc.,  an executive office staffing consulting firm in Providence from 1964 until her retirement in 1987.  She was a member of RI Personnel, American Management, and the Turks Head Club.  In 1983, she served on the RI Community College Advisory Committee for adult learning and training programs.  After retirement, she volunteered for 20  years and served on the Auxiliary Board of Kent Hospital and was awarded a life membership.  

Mary Jayne is survived by her loving children Robert E. Windrow (Jacqueline) of Berlin, Maryland and Deborah A. Sullivan (Sean) of Cranston.  She is also survived by eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, two nieces and a nephew.  She was the mother of the late Richard E. Windrow and sister of the late Frances Budlong.  

A Celebration of her Life will be held in the Spring of 2022.
