Michael Tennett Obituary

Michael S. Tennett 32, of Cranston, passed away on September 2, 2020. Born in Providence, he was the beloved son of Deborah (Moretti) Tennett and the late Stephen Tennett. He is survived by his loving sisters, Kerri (Tennett) Bakalakis and her husband Thomas and Stephanie (Tennett) Gallagher and her husband, Steven, his cousins, S. Max Moretti and Ayreanna Moretti of whom he thought as his own children. He was the grandson of Joan Tennett and the late Russell Tennett and the late Stanton and Maxine Moretti. Michael is also survived by four nieces, two nephews, many aunts, uncles and cousins. Michael was a graduate of Cranston High School East, class of 2005. He worked as a waiter and chef for many years before launching his T-shirt business called Mikey Tee’s in March of 2019, with his signature slogan, "I’m So Cranston"  becoming his biggest seller. He was a talented dancer and hip-hop lyricist who always attracted an audience when he performed. Michael’s loyalty, honesty and sense of humor blessed him with a legion of friends.
