Michelle Richard 61 of Providence, passed away on August 14th at Rhode Island Hospital. Michelle unexpectedly passed away after battling a long illness.
Born in Providence, Michelle spent much of her life there before moving to Cranston and returning to Providence last year. She was the cherished daughter of Joseph and Madeline LeFebvre.
Michelle is survived by her son Joseph; her partner Richard; three older brothers Ricky Nani and wife Gini, Ron Nani, and Asher Siegel, nephews Ricky, Ryan, and Rory Nani as well as a wide circle of beloved family and friends.
Michelle was a true community powerhouse. Known for her boundless energy and love, she made a lasting impact on everyone she met. Many remember her as “the” bartender, she was much more than a friendly face; she was a beacon of warmth and connection, taking great pride in caring for and connecting with those around her. Her later role at BJ’s further showcased her dedication to taking care of others while forming lasting friendships and creating meaningful memories.
Michelle was a proud and exceptional mother, whose love and devotion to her son were evident in all she did. Her life was marked by a deep commitment to her family and friends, and her legacy is one of joy, compassion, and unwavering support. She will be missed beyond words by so many.
Visitation will be held on Monday August 26th from11:00am-12:00pm in The Butterfield Chapel 500 Pontiac Avenue Cranston. A Celebration of Life with a speaking ceremony will follow immediately after the visitation and begin at 12:00pm.
