Nicholas J. Ruzzano 91, passed away on December 1, 2020 at Kent Hospital. He was the beloved husband of the late Betty (Sherman) Ruzzano to whom he was married for 60 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Giacinto and Aurelia (Nardolillo) Ruzzano. He was a resident of Cranston for 47 years. He is survived by his sister Lucy (Ruzzano) Kenyon from Florida, formally from Cranston, His children Nicholas J. Ruzzano Jr, Karen L. (Ruzzano) Erice, Thomas M. Ruzzano, Dianna M. Ruzzano, Raymond J. Ruzzano. He is also survived by his 3 grandchildren, Michael Zuffoletti, Justin Ruzzano, Karissa Erice. He went to Mount Pleasant high school. He was a veteran of the Army. He retired from Ciba-Geigy chemical, and Cranston Printworks. He loved sitting on the front porch with Betty. He loved going to the casino and also going out to eat with his family. He was such a loving family man. He loved being surrounded by his children and grandchildren. He always had a smile and positive attitude and never complained no matter how he was feeling. He loved his wife’s Italian cooking. He had a sense of humor, he would tell interesting stories of his past. He loved listening to music, playing games, and watching TV. He will be greatly missed.
