Patricia Ann Mulvey

Patricia A. (Grieve) Mulvey 77, of Cranston passed away Tuesday January 27, 2026 at Sunny View Nursing Home. She was the loving wife of the late Stephen F. Mulvey.

Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Archibald and Catherine Grieve and retired from the State of Rhode Island after 30 years as a medical secretary in 2012. She was an avid beach goer, spending many fond summers at Roy Carpenter’s Beach in Matunuck. Patricia loved all things Disney, drinking Diet Pepsi, Christmas lights, and spending time with her four amazing grandchildren.

She is survived by her son Michael Mulvey and wife Kimberly, daughter Jessica Geary and husband Mark, grandchildren Michael H. and Madeleine G. Mulvey, Mackenzie E.  and James S. Geary. She was the cherished sister to Donald Grieve and wife Barbara, David Grieve and wife Mildred, the late John "Jack" Grieve and wife Patricia and the late Steven Grieve. She also leaves behind many adored nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be held on Monday February 2, 2026 from 4:00-6:00pm in The Butterfield Chapel 500 Pontiac Avenue Cranston.  A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00pm immediately following the visitation.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital http://www.stjude.org would be appreciated.
