On Friday September 1, 2023, Patricia A. Wylie (Arnold), 73, of Cranston unexpectedly passed away at Kent County Memorial Hospital. She retired from nursing two years ago after dedicating 50 loyal years of her life to her patients and residents.
She was the wife of Robert J. Wylie (“Robbie”) for 50 years as of this past February. She was the daughter of the late Robert Arnold and the late Susan Arnold (Zifcak) of North Providence, RI. Prior to living in Cranston, she resided with her family in Barrington, RI and Riverside, RI.

She also leaves behind her two grandchildren, Melanie and Zachary, of whom she loved very much. She was a devoted Red Sox fan who oftentimes got lost in Boston driving to the games with her girlfriends and took up watching the Patriots and Celtics more recently. She made it to almost every Kenny Rogers concert in RI and even got her husband up on stage for the look-alike contest. She enjoyed watching planes land and take off from the airport and made sure to be at the airport to welcome family members arriving from out of state.
Patricia was a graduate of North Providence High School and graduated with her RN from the former Roger Williams General Hospital School of Nursing in 1970. She worked as the Director of Nurses at several facilities across the state and most recently at the Bridge at Cherry Hill in Johnston.
