Peter J. Pennacchia, 72 of Cranston, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024.  Born in Providence, the son of the late Peter Pennacchia and Claire (Palumbo) Pennacchia.  He was the devoted husband of Shirley (Santo) Pennacchia.  He was an auto mechanic for over 30 years and most recently he worked for Cranston Housing Authority until he retired.  He was an avid NASCAR fan and motorcycle enthusiast.  Besides his wife, he is survived by his sister Patricia Pennacchia, and brothers Paul and Kenneth Pennacchia.  He was also the loving uncle of several nieces and nephews.  His memorial service will be held on January 19, 2024 at 11:00am in The Butterfield Chapel 500 Pontiac Avenue Cranston.
