Peter A. Pereira

Peter Pereira Obituary

Peter Pereira passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on October 4, 2023, at the age of 64 after a courageous 6 month battle with a rare cancer. He was married to Pamela (Antuono), the love of his life and soulmate, for 38 years.  Together, they raised their twins Eli and Nathan.  Peter was the son of the late Amadeu "Aime" and Marion (McCarthy) Pereira.  Besides his wife and sons, he is survived by brothers John, Paul, Anthony and James Pereira, sister-in-law Amy Rachiele and nephew Christian. Peter was a dedicated and hardworking man who most recently worked for Medline Industries in Uxbridge, MA, where he was known for his kindness, mentoring, and strong work ethic. He was passionate about bringing the best out of the people he worked with and teaching them skills that would enhance their experience.  He always believed in leading by example and encouraged others to do the same. In his free time, Peter enjoyed woodworking, traveling throughout New England, and spending time with his family.  He never hesitated to help family and friends.  He also volunteered his talents for nearly 40 years at Pilgrim Pines Family Campgrounds in Swanzey, New Hampshire. He was quick to offer a helping hand, a "thank you" or a "be careful".  He will always be remembered for his warm smile, generous spirit, heart of gold, and unwavering love for his wife, children, and family.
