Peter James Vamvaketis

Peter James "Pete" Vamvaketis 78, of Cranston passed away peacefully on December 24, 2021. Pete was preceded in death by his parents Stephen and Sophia (Frangouis) and is survived by his brother Paul. Born in Port Washington New York, he was an avid outdoorsman all of his life. He enjoyed his many hunting trips to Maine with fellow Corrections Officers. Peter retired from the ACI in Cranston.  Pete will be missed by Abigail, Adaline and Levi.  A Memorial Service will be held on Friday January 28, 2022 at 6:00pm in The Butterfield Chapel 500 Pontiac Avenue Cranston. Burial will be in the North Burial Ground Cemetery in Providence.
