Richard A. Bourque

Richard Bourque Obituary

Richard A. "Dick" Bourque 69, of North Kingstown, passed away on November 3, 2023. He was born on November 27, 1953 in Providence, son of the late Harold and Patricia (Jacobs) Bourque and was the devoted husband of 44 years to the late Joyce (Garabedian) Bourque.

Dick started his career with the family business HB Alarms, but found his true calling being a State Constable. He made a lasting impact on those he encountered throughout his career. There was not a road in the state he had not traveled on. Beyond his professional life, Dick had a deep passion for various hobbies. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cooking, finding solace and joy in these activities. His face would light up when someone enjoyed the food he made. Dick also cherished the moments spent watching his children play many sports as they grew up. However, his greatest joy came from spending time with his beloved grandchildren, who brought boundless happiness to his life.

Dick will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He was the adoring father of Michelle, Nicole, Ben (Charlena), RJ (Ashley), and Aidyn. He was a cherished grandfather to Cloe, Morgan, Connor, Arieana, Gemma, Abriella, Trevor, Jax, Dakota, and Jeremy. Dick was a loving brother to Kenny his wife Jeanne and John and late wife Nancy.  Dick also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews along with countless family and friends.

His legacy of dedication, love, and cherished memories will continue to inspire all who knew him. May he rest in eternal peace.
