Robert Reed 86, of Cranston passed away on November 18, 2024, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.

He was a man of quiet determination and boundless love for his family.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor (Maher) Reed; son Christopher Reed and daughter-in-law Wendy Reed; two cherished grandchildren Robert and Victoria Reed; brother Edward Reed; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his other siblings and a host of family and friends who now welcome him home.
His Funeral Service will be held on Monday November 25, 2024 at 9:30am in The Butterfield Chapel 500 Pontiac Avenue Cranston. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery Exeter.
The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to support Alzheimer’s research in his memory.
