Ronald S. Kuhn "Ronnie" 56, of Warwick, Rhode Island passed away on Monday April 5th, 2021. Ron was born December 18, 1964, in Warwick and was a lifelong Rhode Island resident. He was an active carpenter/Steward with the Carpenters Union Local 94 for 33 years. Ron enjoyed the simple things in life. He was an ocean explorer; he loved to spontaneously hit the ocean to swim, fish, kayak, canoe, and snorkel. He was a true history buff. His favorite time spent was with family and friends and especially his regular dinners with his son. Ron will be remembered as a carpenter by trade as he was the handyman who would often change his plans at the drop of a hat to help his family and friends. His true calling: stand-up comic. Ron will forever warm his family and friends' hearts with memories of his ability to lighten the heaviest of situations with his humorous notes. He was known as the man who could brighten the darkest of days just by being present and dropping a subtle joke. Ron had a smile that would light up the room. He made friends with ease. Everyone wanted to be near him. He was loyal and had your back. If you said the sky was purple, it was purple. Ron was incredibly considerate, always looking out for his son and loved ones. He set the standard of a true gentleman. Ron was kind, thoughtful, generous, and chivalrous - old fashioned at heart; Ron was respectful and always well mannered. His generosity exceeded those with bountiful pockets; he gave all he had and desired nothing in return. He was smart, funny, quick-witted, and great in a crisis, always taking the leadership role. When asked what his biggest accomplishment was, he would proudly say with no hesitation, "My Son." He loved his son Ron with all his heart, and Ron loved him right back and always will. Ron was the son of Naomi (Lindstrom) Sawyer and Charles Kuhn. Beloved father of Ronald S. Kuhn Jr. and his wife Carrie Wunsch, former husband and lifelong friend of Carla A. Kuhn and Kathleen Larkin-Kuhn, brother of David A. Kuhn, Gary R. Kuhn, and Karen L. (Kuhn) Perry. He is also survived by his nieces Alyssa Kuhn and Kaylin Perry, nephew Zakari Perry and a great-niece and nephew. Ron was known for his infectious laugh; He will be missed dearly for his big heart, words of wisdom, and selfless acts of kindness. He was authentic, genuine, and truly enjoyed the life he lived.
