Stanley A. Ferrara 73, of Cranston died peacefully on November 17, 2020 at Elmhurst Rehabilitation Center after an unexpected illness. Margaret (Walsh) Ferrara was his wife and faithful caregiver. Born on August 8, 1947 to the late Stanley and Mary (Delgado) Ferrara, Stanley spent his childhood in Providence and later moved to Cranston to raise his family. Besides his wife Margaret, Stanley leaves his, daughter Elizabeth Ferrara, son in law Jason Reynolds, son Nicholas Ferrara, daughter in law Kendra Carter and three grandchildren Samantha 8, Hunter 7 and Caitlin 2 as well as his brother Gary Ferrara. Stanley spent many years as a surveyor and draftsman at Garofalo and Associates and later worked at Electric Boat. He loved to spend time with his nieces and nephews and always treated them as they were his own. There were many fishing trips especially during family vacations on Cape Cod. For Stanley, family was the most important thing. He provided daycare for his first granddaughter, Samantha, from the time she was born. They were the best of friends. He was a soccer coach for CLCF in Cranston and coached his son, daughter and many others to championships and in tournaments. When he wasn't on the field to coach, he was there to cheer and encourage all the kids no matter who was winning.
