Susan M. Fenchel Obituary

Susan Mary Fenchel (Sherlock), age 66 of Cranston RI, died peacefully in the presence of loving family at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center after a short battle with cancer. Susan was a fighter and hard worker. A Jane of all trades, master of nothing, her last vocation, a favorite of hers, was that of an Office Manager at The Water Filter Company. Wife of John T. Fenchel, daughter of the late Dolores J. Quaglia and David Sherlock. Susan lived in RI for most of her life.

Susan was deeply loved and survived by John T. Fenchel, daughters Stasha and Shalyn and son in-laws Steven and Jonathan. She was adored by 7 grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Andrew (Kaitlyn’s husband), Jordyn, Jaden, Lucas, Arrianna, and Kylee. Susan also leaves behind 6 beloved siblings: David, Debra, Gerald, Pamela, Patrick, and Kathleen as well as 5 in-laws: Steve, Ron, Liz, Bobby, and Cindy. Her soul mates and best friends Karen and Amy will never be the same without her. She will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Her co-workers and bosses were also her friends and she missed them greatly during her battle. Susan was a fast friend to many and never met a stranger. She was well liked throughout her community and neighborhood. Many will miss and grieve the loss of her joy filled smile and infectious laughter. May her body rest in peace and her soul forever dance in heaven.
